Tod Gordon | Senior Advisor

Tod Gordon focuses on digital banking, corporate treasury, financial planning, and M&A.

Tod has more than 35 years of experience in financial services as an executive and operator in corporate and business line roles. Recently, Tod was part of a small team that organized the First Women’s Bank (a de novo Chicago bank) and served as their first CFO. Previously at Discover Financial Services (DFS), he led the Deposits business, spanning over 1 million consumer relationships and over $50B in deposits. Additionally at Discover, he was Treasurer of the $100B holding company and bank. Tod joined Discover from JPMorgan Chase (JPM) where he held two Managing Director roles as Head of Liquidity Solutions responsible for the Commercial Bank’s $200B deposits and reported to the Treasurer before and during the Financial Crisis. During his time at JPMorgan Chase, he was responsible for balance sheet strategies, liquidity risk, asset securitization, rating agency relationships, M&A liaison, and share repurchase program. Prior to JPMorgan, Tod had numerous roles at Bank One, Household International, and American National Bank Chicago.

Tod holds a BA in finance from Indiana University, Bloomington and an MBA in finance from Loyola University.
